Between reduction and expansion
Part 2, With and Without

Between Reduction and Expansion - a project in two parts with works by 16 female and 2 male composers from different countries.

“From Reduction to Expansion” allows us to explore the diversity of possibilities without restricting them.

Part 2 “With and Without” has works where electronics and performance also play a role. Expanding the possibilities of compositions for voice, be it extended techniques, interaction with electronics, transformations, rituals and games, creates possibilities full of variety, diversity and openness.
We are delighted to premiere new works specially commissioned by “Trio Generator” for Berlin-based Hanna Eimermacher and Berlin-based Belarusian composer Marina Lukashevich.

The three singers come from different countries of origin (Italy/Sweden, Germany, Russia) and synergistically bring together a wide range of experience. They have already realized a variety of theatrical and performative experiments ranging from contemporary opera to pop music and art performance. The trio stands for diversity and particularly wants to perform and promote new works by female composers. The sonic dimension of an ecological reference to the world is a central conceptual aspect of the trio's experiments.
