"Rooted: Pitch & Perform" is a two-day series by Apricot Productions, providing freelance artists in Berlin with a space to present work in progress, performative pitches, and test new workshop concepts.
The event is initiated with an open call and is available to be applied for until October 15th. On October 20th the participants will be announced.The program includes:
2x two hour workshops - APPLY HERE
4x 20-minute performative pitches- APPLY HERE
4x 30-minute performances- APPLY HERE
This curated event connects international artists with Berlin's arts scene, fostering collaboration and addressing challenges while building sustainable networks. Artists will be paid from ticket sales, and the community is invited to join workshops, pitches, and performances. The event also includes networking over an aperitif.

Friday & Saturday: workshops, pitches, aperitif, and performances from 2:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

2:30- 4:30 - Workshop by Artist #1
4:30- 6:00 pm - Verbal or Performative pitch followed by discussion (Bühne) 6:00 - 7:00 pm - Aperitif/happy hour/meet and greet the artists involved (Lobby) 7 pm - 8:30 pm- Two performances (30 min each)

Welcome to Apricot Productions. We are a production, marketing, distribution and management company for multi- disciplinary artists based in Berlin. Founded in 2021 by two women, Apricot Productions offers services from A to Z for all of your production and marketing needs. While you’re in the creative zone- we’re here to get down to the nitty gritty. But that’s not all we do at Apricot. We ourselves are creators, dancers and teachers too. We internally create immersive experiences, workshops and festivals to elevate our diverse community and share our artistic voices and network with others as a platform of resources. Why? Because we don’t believe in gatekeeping. Welcome to our world, we’ve created it just for our community.
