Fuga is a performative collaboration between the Czech ensemble ‘Ferst Dadler’ and the Berlin-based musicians and artists Burkhard Beins and Michael Vorfeld. This multimedia project combines music, dance and light, and is based on the principle of polyphony – the simultaneous coexistence of different voices, perspectives and sensory experiences. Taking the form of contemporary musical theatre, it presents a dense and almost physical tapestry of diverse, interwoven audiovisual scenes. In this process the perception of the materiality and potential of objects, space and sound is altered and redefined.

Ferst Dadler (RU/IT/CZ) is an artistic performance collective formed in 2017 through the collaboration and friendship of three artists: two dancers/choreographers and a musician. Today, the central question guiding their work is how collective creativity and the creative process function within a group. Ferst Dadler's practice is both responsible and inclusive. The collective brings creative impulses into public space and provides audiences with opportunities to become participants and co-creators of works that carry both aesthetic and social value.

Burkhard Beins, composer-performer working in the fields of experimental music and sound art. He is known for his definitive use of percussion in combination with selected sound objects. Furthermore, he works with live-electronics/analog synthesizers, plays bass guitar, and has conceived several sound installations.

Michael Vorfeld, musician and media artist, plays percussion and self-designed string instruments and realizes electroacoustic sound pieces. He works in the field of experimental, improvised music and sound art, realizing performances and installations with sound and light, and working with photography and film.
