SUSPENDED EARTH

Suspended earth is a dance solo piece that deals with the experience of migration, from Sudamerica to Europe; and the impression that in order to adapt to the change one must create a space in the brain to mix-match and understand both cultures, while going under the process of living and re-living memories, learning a new language, getting new habits, but also selecting what are the things that will stay in this new identity to continue the adaptation and integration process. Concepts like resistance, instability and home are placed on the stage as triggers to open up wayd to intimately create this floating space or suspended earth.

I DONT WANT YOU TO LIKE IT

I Don’t Want You To Like It reflects on the hyper-sexualization of the femenine body. You’re give the opportunity to watch and to observe.

You’re invited to feel uncomfortable, and to question your thoughts and the opinions you form. I’m not giving you what you want… or maybe I am? I like to play with your expectations. It’s hard to know if it’s conscious or not. I self objectify so you don’t have the power to do it to me. I’m discovering and rediscovering my body. But does it actually give me the power? There is no solution, just an unfortunate truth.
