(un)gehört / Keisuke Sugawara

(un)gehört is a contemporary performance focused on our personal anger by Berlin-based Japanese choreographer Keisuke Sugawara. It is part of the series of research on one’s inner emotions. The original idea of the project was inspired by a Japanese idiom „HIKA-KOUGAI“. This performance includes elements of dance, theater and soundscape. How do you experience anger in society? Can you capture a phenomenon happening in our body that is difficult to recognize? This is a visualization of the many facets of anger, a very powerful emotion that varies from individual to individual and strongly affects our daily lives. The question for all of us is: how do we balance our anger?
