A woman's home has mysteriously become very dirty. Filthy in fact. Terrified, she calls her cleaner, a punk about to be evicted, to come round and help, but despite all their efforts, the house just gets dirtier and dirtier...

Tomorrow, she had planned to have children and play with them.
She wonders if this will be possible.

*Work in Progress

A solo performance project devised, written and performed by Marianne Tuckman

produced by João Maio
sound design by Marcelo Schmittner
mentored by Prof. David Britton (Swansea University) and Cristina Mackerron

The question that I ask in this project is: if outside forces such as the climate crisis invade and contaminate home, how does our vision of the future mutate? A burning question facing my generation will be addressed: is having children still an option?

The solo entwines elements of Liebig34's story, the anarcha-queer- feminist squat in Friedrichain, Berlin, that was evicted on the 19th October 2020. Heartfelt thanks to Ivann from Liebig34 for giving his time for an interview.
