CLARA Z / Fighting where life is

„CLARA Z“ takes us back to the world of the revolution, when courageous women went their own way.

Clara Zetkin became famous as a women's rights activist and communist. She was ironclad in her principles and motherly in her dealings with her fellow human beings. Did you know that Clara Zetkin was a co-founder of International Women's Day? Or that she lived with a man 18 years younger than her? That she initiated secret peace conferences despite being seriously ill and, despite the danger of being murdered by the SA, opened the Reichstag in 1932 as an elderly president? She was a close friend of Rosa Luxemburg and Lenin. As a politician, she campaigned tirelessly for peace and freedom for the people and was a staunch critic of capitalism. Dive into the life of this extraordinary personality who dedicated her struggle to the liberation of women and the working class.

Triple A was founded as a collective in 2021 and has been working together in various constellations ever since. We focus on political content with interdisciplinary realisation and expand our artistic space to include radio plays and live audio performances. Our work is research-based. Historical themes and stories are staged in relation to current events. Our visual worlds are poetic and full of playful lightness. Dialogue is combined with elements of concert and lecture performance, with puppetry and drama. An important component in all productions are the compositions by Annegret Enderle, which lend our performances their atmospheric magic.
